Two supported split modes
Delimiter
Split a value such as Last, First at the comma.
Fixed length
Take a chosen number of characters from the left or right side of each value.

Enter a delimiter such as a comma or dash, or choose a character length and take it from the left or right.

Review the two new columns
SupaSplit inserts two columns after the source column and writes the separated values there.
Useful for predictable two-part values
- Separate last and first names stored with one consistent delimiter.
- Extract fixed-length prefixes or suffixes from product and account codes.
- Keep the original source column while reviewing the two inserted outputs.
Limits and privacy
- SupaSplit creates exactly two output columns.
- Delimiter mode keeps the first two pieces when a value contains the delimiter more than once.
- The source values remain in place, but two columns are inserted after the selected source column.
- Splitting happens in the active spreadsheet. External account and diagnostic records exclude the cell values being split.
